Mio padre entra spontaneamente nella mia stanza,
non è da solo,
"Questo è per te", dice,
mi consegna il libro che lo ha accompagnato,
il nome del visitatore è Imajica.
Mentre osservo le sue caratteristiche androgine,
la musica nel mio stereo prende vita,
c'è il suono di una donna che ripete le parole:
“Questa è la storia di un cuore spezzato. Questa è la storia della nostra vita.”
L'immagine sulla copertina del libro rappresenta due anime,
uno è terreno, con la carnagione marrone.
L'altra è ultraterrena, con la tonalità della pelle viola.
Uno è in posizione verticale,
l'altra è sottosopra.
Entrambi sono arricciati l'uno verso l'altro in posizione fetale.
Molto simile al simbolo dello yin e dello yang,
insieme completano un cerchio.
La sfera che li tiene insieme è circondata da vari simboli,
che fluiscono e rifluiscono dentro e fuori dalla vista,
a seconda della riflessione della luce.
Un fenomeno ottico.
Il primo simbolo che vedo è quello dell'infinito ♾️
Proprio in quel momento, il mio telefono si illumina con un messaggio,
il simbolo dell'infinito è ancora in vista periferica.
in soggezione per ciò che sta accadendo,
leggo le tue parole:
"Che succede?"
Non so cosa stia succedendo.
Ma lo sento.
Piego il libro contro la luce per catturare gli altri simboli che brillano,
prima che diventino invisibili di nuovo.
Suona la canzone successiva nel mio stereo,
c'è la voce di un uomo che dice le parole:
"Il sole non splende per sempre, finché siamo qui tanto vale splendere insieme."
C'è un bicchiere sul mio comodino,
anche se vive con noi da molti anni,
È la prima volta che lo guardo davvero.
C'è una figura danzante su entrambe le estremità del vetro,
Un fenomeno ottico.
Quando guardo attraverso il vetro posso vedere che,
sebbene le figure siano posizionate alle estremità opposte della sfera,
danzano insieme.
Non si toccano mai,
ma coincidono eternamente.
Comincio a leggere la sinossi del libro:

My father spontaneously enters my room,

As I observe it’s androgynous features,
the song playing on my speakers in the background comes to life,
a woman is repeating the words:
“This is a story of a broken heart. This is the story of our lives.”
The image on the book cover is of two souls,
one is earthly, with brown skin tone.
The other is otherworldly, with purple skin tone.
One is upright,
the other is upside down.
Both are curled toward each other in a fetus position.
Very similar to the symbol of yin and yang,
together they complete a circle.
Surrounding the sphere that holds them together are various symbols,
that ebb and flow in and out of sight,
depending on the reflection of light.
An optical phenomenon.
The first symbol I see is that of infinity ♾️
In that same moment, I see my phone light up with a message.
in awe of what is happening,
the infinity symbol still in peripheral sight,
I read your words,
“What is happening?"
I don’t know what is happening.
But I feel it.
I bend the book against the light to catch the other symbols that begin to shine,
before they turn invisible.
The next song plays,
now it is a man saying the words:
"The sun doesn’t shine forever, as long as we’re here we might as well shine together."
There is a glass on my bedside table,
though it has lived with us for many years,
it is my first time truly looking at it.
There is a dancer on either end of the glass.
An optical phenomena.
When you peer through the glass you can see that
though the figures are placed on opposite ends of the sphere,
they dance together.
Never quite touching,
but eternally coinciding.
I begin to read the synopsis of the book:
The narrative unfolds within a multiverse of parallel dimensions,
exploring the interplay between reality, magic, and the cosmic forces that shape existence.
The story follows the protagonist ‘Gentle’ as he becomes entangled in a multidimensional conflict,
